COMPANY: Growing multi-office agency handling P&C and Workers' Compensation claims in Texas and Louisiana offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of claims advocacy, driving both client satisfaction and agency profitability. Play a key role in shaping the future of claims services. Company seeks a dynamic Claims Manager to join its growing team. Prioities: claims management, team leadership, and client relations.

OPPORTUNITY:  Manage day-to-day claims activity. File and report claims to the appropriate policies and carriers. Train, mentor, and develop a small claims team. Assist in creating a training manual.  Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients. Reduce client loss ratios and drive client education. Dvelop escalation procedures. Ensure smooth claims processing and resolution. Utilize claims unit as a tool for sales, client retention, and as a profit center for the agency. Maximize employee efficiency and contribute to the agency’s revenue growth Enhance ongoing producer education, support client referrals, and use services to attract new business.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum of 4+ years in the insurance industry, preferably in an agency environment. Strong knowledge of insurance coverage and markets. Proven experience as a CSR or Account Manager is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Basic proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software. Active Property & Casualty License is required. College degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.  

LOCATION: Live in Corpus Christi, Houston, Waco, or Lubbock, Texas, Shreveport, or Alexandria, Louisiana.
