Description / Responsibilities

Ensure high quality claim handling, make coverage determinations, investigate losses, conduct independent assessment, and move cases towards timely resolution. Claim responsibility will be mostly commercial casualty losses including some litigation claim handling. Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle assigned claims. Handle assigned volume of claims serving industries such as transportation, construction, manufacturing, real estate, and small business. Develop and maintain excellent rapport with the agency force, insureds, claimants, and internal customers. Extended career developmnet training will be provided by this outstanding company. Positive working atmosphere. Hybrid reporting position with three (3) days remote and two (2) days in the office.

Qualifications

Prefer five (5) years of direct commercial casualty claims experience, but will consider a minimum of two (2) years of claims adjusting experience in commercial lines Auto Physical Damage, Bodily Injury, and General Liability. Bachelor’s degree with strong customer service and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Above average computer skills. High level of organizational skills.
